Fifteen directions

Nine homepages, three services pages, three insights concepts.

Each is a distinct design language — not a palette variation on a single layout. Every page is built from real KCM content: real service names and descriptions, real team members and their actual job titles, real credentials, real contact details. Headlines are new, but every fact in them already exists on your site.

All eight are fully responsive. Open each and resize, or view on a phone.

NavigationTop-mounted on all eight. Sticky, transparent-to-solid, or fixed — never a sidebar.
PaletteNo gold, no orange. Each direction takes its own cool or non-warm accent.
ServicesNo accordions, no carousels. Every service is visible without a click.

Round four — the chosen direction

One page · newest

Built from the two references picked from the gallery. From BCG: the one-line statement above the hero, the publication on a frosted card over a photograph, typed and dated, and a topic strip. From MSCI: the publication as the hero with a bold headline and one button, a latest strip with dates, and plain columns for what the firm does. Palette taken from the logo. Photographs are Unsplash placeholders.

Homepages — publication-led hero

Three directions · round three

Conventional firm homepages whose hero is a full-height slider of real KCM publication artwork — each slide carries a headline, standfirst and a link to the piece. Everything below is the normal suite: about KCM, the eighteen service lines, industries, recognition, then a short insights strip. Slide dates are the real ones printed on the cover art (September 2025, January 2026, July 2024), not the batch-seeded CMS dates.

Insights page concepts

Three directions · not homepages

These are not homepages. They were a first pass at the knowledge-first feedback and went too far — they read as a news site rather than a firm. Kept here because the patterns are sound for an Insights / Knowledge Hub page, which is where they belong. K2’s three-facet filter genuinely works and is the most reusable piece.

Earlier homepages

Five directions · services-led
H1

The Broadsheet

Editorial and typographic. Reads like a serious publication — hairline rules, a masthead, a two-column service index, drop caps. Competence signalled by density and structure rather than decoration.

Type
Newsreader · IBM Plex Sans
Accent
Deep forest green on newsprint
5-second read
Headline plus a service list in the kicker

H2

Split Jurisdiction

The UAE/US split becomes the structure of the whole page. Split-screen hero — Dubai and Manhattan either side of a spine — and services shown as two columns side by side rather than behind a toggle.

Type
Archivo · Instrument Serif
Accent
Teal on deep navy
5-second read
"Corporate tax here. Estate and expatriation tax there."
Open →
H3

The Bench

People first. The hero is a wall of 36 real headshots, making 450+ concrete instead of abstract. Every service line carries the name and face of the partner who leads it. Directly attacks the biggest gap against the peer set.

Type
DM Serif Display · DM Sans
Accent
Oxblood on charcoal
5-second read
Faces first, then the service list

H4

Directory

Swiss and functional. The service directory is the hero — all fourteen UAE lines visible in the first screen, no scrolling required. The most direct possible answer to "what do they do."

Type
Barlow · JetBrains Mono
Accent
Persian blue on white
5-second read
Strongest of the five — the list is the first thing you see
Open →
H5

Monolith

Architectural and restrained, closest to a private bank. Full-bleed photography, inscriptional type, very few words, and one monumental moment where 450+ fills the screen. The most premium-feeling of the five.

Type
Marcellus · Jost
Accent
Steel blue on near-black, limestone text
5-second read
"Tax, structuring and succession for the UAE."

Notes on the content

  • Imagery. All photography is real and content-matched — Dubai and Manhattan skylines, boardrooms, documents, an archive. No AI-generated people. Two clichés were deliberately rejected: the stock handshake, and Indian tourist landmarks standing in for the Vadodara heritage.
  • Faces. Every headshot is a real KCM person with their actual job title, pulled from your team data. The Dubai five and the India bench are always labelled separately so nothing overstates the Dubai footprint.
  • Client logos. Not used anywhere, per the existing decision recorded in your codebase — even though the fifteen logo files are present.
  • Logo. The only asset available is 355×36px with no reversed variant, so dark headers use a CSS knock-out. A vector master is needed before any of these ships.
  • One correction worth carrying forward: your current accent token is named --kcm-gold but renders burnt orange (#BD5A1C) — inherited from the India parent's brand, not from your own logo, which is black and periwinkle blue.
  • Verified. All eight pages were checked at 375px and desktop width: no horizontal overflow, and all 250+ image references resolve.
